Improve URL Structure

URL should be simple to understand. If URL contains relevant words, this provides users and search engines more information about the page.

Prepare two sitemaps

A sitemap is one single page that displays the structure of your website. Visitor can visit this page if they are having problem to finding a specific page. An XML sitemap is for Google that makes easier for Google to crawl the whole website step by step. This sitemap can be submitted through webmaster tool. So there should both the sitemaps available on website XML & HTML.

Use robots.txt

This file named robots.txt placed in root of website. If you don’t want to crawl specific pages then you can use this file with disallow attributes. By using this Google will not crawl pages of your website specified in disallow attribute.

Use unique and quality Content

According to Google webmaster’s guidelines the content of the website should be unique and of high quality. The content must be simple to read. This content must be for users not for search engines.
